Confined Spaces Management
The Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulation 629/05 set out specific minimum safety requirements for working in a confined space. ICSS has developed a training program to assist clients in complying with these regulations and ensuring the safety of their employees. The Ontario Ministry of Labour Reg. 629/05 comes into effect on September 30, 2006 and the requirements of the regulation has been incorporated into a comprehensive training package that will ensure compliance with this regulation.
In order to assist you in reaching compliance with the Reg. 629/05, ICSS is hosting in-class training sessions as described below:
Duration: One Day
In-class lecture including power point slides and video, hands-on scenarios applying theory discussed to practical workplace situations. This course includes both a practical and written examination that will be marked in class.
There will be practical demonstration and practice with our in house confined space equipment and tank.
A certificate of completion will be issued for each participant attending the entire course. Course records and a summary of results will be forwarded to the appropriate administrative personnel, along with certificates after the course.

This course is intended for employees who enter confined spaces, serve as stand by attendants, employees who exercise a supervisory capacity in operations that involve Confined Space Entries.
Line management and trainers whom may conduct specific training would benefit from this course as well.
Our instructors are competent safety professionals and have many years of practical hands on industrial experience.

A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course and a Record of Training will be sent to the appropriate administrative personnel.
